Custom Garage Works resurfaced the two car garage in my home. My garage is now a finished extension of my home. My goal was to create a unique artistic look. Thus, I went with the 1 inch size flakes.
With 1 inch flakes, my garage floor is an inconsistent artistic pattern. I went with three flake colors (blue, white, and black) on a white base color.
The work was completed on time. I would say the work was completed as expected, but I would be lying. The work was completed FAR BETTER than I expected.
In summary you get what you pay for in life and Custom Garage Works is the real deal – worth every dollar.

We began with a very un-useable space, with little to no storage and several real construction worthy problems. CGW was very easy to work with, walking us through our options and making suggestions to correct issues we hadn’t even considered. In addition they worked with us to brainstorm the best use of our space, offering several suggestions and helping us to get the most for our money. We could also count on Custom Garage Works for guidance when making the more cosmetic decisions involving paint and color combinations. The floor was our biggest stumbling block, with gaping cracks. He worked with us to come up with an efficient but also cost effective method with incredible results. The actual renovation was timely and we always felt our home was secure and the work areas were safe. We would strongly recommend Custom Garage Works to anyone looking to renovate their garage.

I called Custom Garage Works because they were listed on Angie’s List and had an ‘A’ rating. Mr. J.D. Justice came to my house, gave us an estimate of what he would do and how he would do the work. He gave us samples of the different colored he had to offer and even sent us more samples via e-mail. He was very nice, professional, and comfortable to work with.
Once we decided to have the work done Mr. Justice and Rob arrived at the date and time they said they would arrive. They came back the second day on time and finished the job in a matter of a few hours. The floor looks as beautiful as Mr. Justice said it would look and we are very pleased. I should note that JD & Rob spent extra time to grind down a lot of the rough edges of the garage floor to make it look better – they did this on their own without cost.
When the job was completed Mr. Justice gave us a 10% discount which I had not expected. I highly recommend Custom Garage Works to anyone who wants their garage to look like a showroom.

I have owned several homes and used several different epoxy garage floor systems. At first I was pleased with the results but within a year the epoxy pealed in a few spots and even stained with fruit punch after a party. I really wanted a quality floor product with a durable shine that would enhance the look of my garage and last. JD & Custom Garage Works did an outstanding job with my garage floor. Very satisfied with the garage. I wanted to do something with the floor to make the appearance better. I had been looking online for something like a rubber mat or rubber squares that could be laid in the garage. Then I saw your website and liked the looks. I didn’t especially like the large flakes but when JD showed me the smaller flakes I really liked the look. Also like the fact that you apply a sealer. All my neighbors have been over to look at it and see what I was having done. All of them liked it.

You guys did awesome work. Few months later, dirt, oil, even small rust from a floor jack removed easily with a mop and water. Cabinets are great. Plenty of room and still several empty. Many compliments from people just walking by. I refer customers that need your service. Great job!

JD was great. We had other come out for an estimate to coat our garage floor and JD’s presentation was the most informative by far. We were impressed by the product and the details given to us about the entire process. We were told the floor could be done in one day, and it was. It was an all day process, but for us that was way better than the 3-day process of the others. The floor coating transformed a dull, dirty garage floor into a showroom. When we get to the point of adding cabinets and organizers to the garage, we will call JD back. I would recommend JD of Custom Garage Works and the floor coating.

Wow, what an awesome transformation! This floor coating is tough as nails and is impervious to oil and gas. Plus it is easy to clean with just a sponge mop. After it was done, I had a block party on my driveway to show it off, and my garage is now the envy of the neighborhood! I also took advantage of a SAM container to stow the contents of my garage while the floor was being transformed. I shopped around and looked at other floor coatings, and even considered a DIY epoxy kit. Custom Garage Works exceeded my expectations in every way and I know I made the best choice. The whole process was minimal hassle, and the end result adds value to my home.

On Labor Day thanks in big part to our new spectacular hand crafted floor covering that you provided did something that I’m sure very few people have ever had the experience of doing.We used our garage for a picnic and barefooted!Never in all our years nor in the many houses have ever lived in have we ever even thought about using the ”GARAGE” as a place to eat much less go barefoot.We have a whole new room addition to our home and it is by far providing one of the highest returns on cost of the many improvements we have made to this 70yr old house.Thank you!
